After a period of development and refinement, we are officially launching version 0.6.0. The core additions in this update include: Main Story Missions and Special Mothership Equipment.

To integrate the various recently added content, we have consolidated the previously scattered narrative introductions and system tutorials into a unified main story mission system. By following the main story, players can quickly familiarize themselves with the gameplay and purpose of all core features in the current version.

For players who have already experienced the game, the main story will begin from an appropriate point while preserving all ships and resources you have already acquired. If you are still not very familiar with the game's mechanics, we recommend starting a new game to fully understand each system through the main story missions.

If you have a save file and are certain about restarting, you can locate the save file at the following path:

You can reset your progress by deleting or renaming the save.sd file.

As long as civilization endures, the exploration of technology and engineering is endless. Although automated production lines have matured, the pursuit of new techniques never ceases—whether it's the technical departments on the mothership or the R&D teams in habitats, they continuously transform inspiration and effort into new possibilities.

Special Equipment is a category of devices independent of automated production lines, often being experimental results and thus typically unique. They possess work efficiency far exceeding that of standard engineering stations, or storage capacity several times greater than conventional warehouses, making them extremely powerful engineering machinery.

Of course, Special Equipment also has a few limitations. Their significant originality affects their universality to some extent: they cannot be integrated into modular automated production lines and can only be individually connected to standard storage rooms within limited space. Even so, the performance advantages offered by Special Equipment are still worth careful consideration by every engineer for their potential applications.

This update adds various celestial bodies as background elements to enhance the sense of depth in space. To accommodate the new celestial system, we have remade all interstellar backgrounds, enriching scene details while reducing overly glaring light effects present in some previous scenes.

Furthermore, we have performed balance enhancements on a large amount of game content, allowing it to become useful earlier in the game or to have a more defined value proposition.

Additionally, we've addressed several issues from previous versions.

New Additions

• Added Main Story Mission system and completely reset the game's opening sequence; main story missions will provide basic gameplay guidance and hints

• Added Special Equipment system, allowing various special devices with different functions to be installed on the Mothership; some Special Equipment can be obtained by completing Civil Commissions

• Added secondary confirmation prompts for certain high-risk operations

• Added enemy ship shake and imbalance effects when player attacks hit enemy aircraft

• Added camera shake effects upon spell firing and impact

• Added a large number of Empire and Federation-style ship name candidates

• Added various celestial bodies as cosmic background objects

• Added a default basic spell; after updating, if a spellcaster's spell slot is empty, a basic spell will be auto-generated

System Adjustments

• Remade all interstellar backgrounds to accommodate new celestial bodies and optimize visual comfort

• Adjusted in-flight menu settings: spells can now be adjusted or the help interface viewed during travel

• Adjusted ship purchase or module replacement prices at faction docks, with discounts gradually applied as reputation with that faction increases

• Unified the attribute calculation methods for ship Engine Modules and Shield Modules for more consistent effect performance

• Adjusted performance data for Engine and Shield Modules to highlight the characteristics of different module types

• In line with the above changes, adjusted the effects of modification traits such as "Engine Overboost," "Engine Synergy," "Shield Overclock," and "Shield Synergy"

• Adjusted description information for Engine and Shield Modules; now displays single-module base performance (previously showed cumulative multi-module performance)

• Reduced the rarity of some materials required for ship modifications, allowing higher-tier modifications to be performed earlier in the game

• Optimized the behavior logic of attack drones to improve combat efficiency

• Adjusted drone power supply detection: all drone types must fully meet all power consumption requirements

• Fine-tuned the projectile speed of multi-fragment shooting weapons

• Optimized particle effects for spell projectiles and area attacks

• Adjusted the incantation time for the vast majority of spell words; overall incantation duration reduced by approximately 40%–50%

• Adjusted the Aether cost of some words to match their word length and incantation time

• Adjusted the spell penetration mechanism: when penetration value falls below 0, projectile duration will be randomly shortened within a certain range

• Enhanced the effect of the "Echoing Succession" word; it can now trigger repeatedly

• Reset the effect of the "Focus Convergence" word and renamed it to "Guided Projection"; this trait functions similarly to "Projectile Projection"—after incantation completes, all main projectiles are launched and controlled to gradually turn toward the front; it can affect "Echoing Succession"

• Reset the effect of the "Focus Focusing" word and renamed it to "Interlaced Projection"; this trait functions similarly to "Projectile Projection"—after incantation completes, all main projectiles are launched and controlled to turn over a period of time; it can affect "Echoing Succession"

• Adjusted the durability and barrage intensity of wild creatures

• Adjusted Federation calendar calculation rules for narrative purposes

• Fine-tuned the color scheme related to the "Air" attribute

• Fixed an issue where the "Projectile Projection" word might fail to correctly launch missiles under certain circumstances

• Fixed an issue where the "Exotic Matter" blueprint might be incorrectly obtained from Map Events

• Fixed an issue where gem-type items obtained from Map Events were incorrectly placed into Mothership storage; gems already placed can be merged into gem reserves via "Consolidate Inventory"

• Fixed an issue where priority markers were ignored when sending items to a superior ship, and items might be placed into mismatched storage slots

This update introduces a brand-new Map Events system and adds various camera effects during combat to enhance battlefield immersion.

Though vast and empty, interstellar space still witnesses occasional unexpected occurrences—perhaps intermittent signals, floating wreckage, or even intense ongoing conflicts.

Map events will randomly appear in cosmic space near planetary regions. Completing these events yields generous rewards, which may include various items, manufacturing blueprints, or even entire ships—always full of surprises.

Some events may contain combat scenarios requiring direct intervention, where players must complete the engagement to claim rewards. Compared to regular missions issued by habitats, event combat typically offers greater returns.

In line with the addition of event rewards, completing habitat missions or Civil Commissions will now display obtained rewards in a dedicated interface, providing clearer and more intuitive feedback.

Furthermore, we've sprinkled a small number of background objects throughout space to enrich the visual scenery. New camera shake effects during combat will also enhance the tactile feel and impact of shooting mechanics.

Additionally, we've addressed several issues from previous versions.

• Unified navigation restrictions for all player ships—Gunboats and Frigates can no longer travel to overly distant locations independently

• Adjusted rarity tiers for most modification materials—their actual value, acquisition rate, and consumption remain unchanged

• Optimized base duration of spell projectiles and adjusted effects of related spell vocabulary on projectile lifespan

• Fixed abnormal movement range restrictions when battlefield scale mismatched player ship size
