DLC worth it?
I'm definitely buying this game. $5 is a steal. However, I dunno if I should bother buying the two DLCs.. I hear it's only a few hours worth of extra content. However, at $2.49 a pop, that doesn't seem too bad. Anyone want to encourage or discourage the extras??

Would like to know, too... 2.50 is still something during sales, and if they're not really good additions resp. if you get enough out of the main game then I'd rather keep my 2.50 :)

Well from what I read on amazon the DLC packs are nothing special and pretty short. The pirate clothes are a little boost for the start and the treasure Isle was cut out content from the game sold as pre order DLC.
The gold Edition includes all DLC and is 7,50€ instead of 5. But If you have something you'd buy for those 2.50 instead get that.

Both dlc:s are worth getting in my opinion, I enjoyed them both. Don't bother getting the pirate clothes dlc though, it just makes the game easier.

Hmm, what's the amount of gameplay you'll get out of the main game itself resp. the DLCs? I could spare those 2.50€ if it's not really a big expansion...

E.g. my question basically is if the additional DLC is worth paying half price extra of the main game alone, so whether or not they add a substantial amount to the experience the main game offers on its own.

Short, bad and really expensive. Don't buy, you'll regret it.

Come now, it's only 2.50 more.

Surely you jest.

So after some digging around it looks like the game averages around 30 to 40 hours. The DLC seems to add 5 to 10 hours max, and only if you explore absolutely every nook and cranny. However, I do love exploring, so $2.50 seems worth it for the Gold edition. :x

Seriously for 2.50 its worth every penny. Even for a few hours its worth it. Thats the price like for 1 drink.

Hey, did anyone activate DLC with a code? I mean without buying one via Steam. I have a code (printed, added to collector's edition) but I don't know how to use that. This code is to Treasure Isle. Here on Steam such a DLC can only be bought. Does anyone know how to activate that?

Can you activate it via the menu "Games" then "activate a product on steam"?

I traded for the game so not sure if its the same code I used, but I entered both the game, and all dlc's there
