I only discovered this when half-way through the game. Logbook -> select the quest -> press E to set quest map marker. Then the quest location would be marked on map. I wish I had known this starting from the beginning.

The Ancestors Blessing quest is bugged for me; I can't talk to the NPC Samir. I've already tried going back to a save where I hadn't even entered the temple yet, and even then there are no dialogue options. The other quest that also involves talking to him, called Four Offerings for Kanadiktu, gives me dialogue options and I can talk to him, but not in the Ancestors Blessing quest. This is very frustrating because I'm really enjoying the game, but I can't progress if this quest continues to be bugged. I've...

As much as I love Risen 1 the part 2 is so bad. The fight feels really random etc. Also I tried to sneak into barracks and it just wouldn't work I had to google out you have to roll in. Anyway feels too buggy and bad. I wished they just stayed with Risen 1 mechanics....

Привет ! Пока что я нашел 1 варик (точнее потом попробую) Поставить на мониторе разрешение 1920x1080. Чисто ради катки в Risen. Но может быть можно как-то по человечески игру растянуть ? Просто Risen (1) и Risen 3 открываются нормально....

ahoy, fresh new player here! last month i finished risen 1 during my journey to clear that dreaded steam library backlog, and this time its risen 2 that needs a playtrough! first of all, ive read some complaints about this game beeing inferior to the first one, but so far i am enjying it for what it is. not a huge fan of john risen not beeing able to swim (seems unwise while sailing on a ship and all), and his general make-over compared to the glorious baldness he had in the first one, but whatever. now...
