Howcome i have a good setup and i lag like hell on the first island?
Its not like i like to spand cash on a single player game to be able to lag online?

I played the demo before I got a new GPU and had 5 fps no matter the settings on 1600x900 resolution...

I'm guessing if you have an AMD cpu your going to lag..damn amd...

Fix lag for nvidia cards, reinstall driver but do not tick box for nvidia 3D.Got this form Kotch Media forums and it works.

also try the force multi-core in the risen 2 driver settings

IVE GOT SAME PROBLEM...MYSPECS ARE=CPU-AMD FX BULLDOZER 4.2GHZ, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 670 MSI OVERCLOCKED EDITION WINDOWS 7 64 BIT AND 2TB HARD DRIVE

and ive uninstalled driver and reinstalled and havnt installed the 3d driver :( still no luck...yet i play far cry 3 on maximum settings and no lag

4 gb ram. Win 7 , 64 bit.

So yes, its bad when ive got AMD and Nvidia setup.
I havent even bothered to try troubleshooting when ive paid money for it to work.
It didnt say anywhere when i bought it that i would lag as hell either with the "wrong" Nvidia card or Amd.

Ive updated my drivers, thats it. Still i get lag after playing for 5 min.

it will not play on either of game computers. junk its not the computers ive got over $1600.00 in each of them. im a hardware tech. mabe it will play on win. nt on fat 32 hdd. junk

If the water reflection is enabled, the frame rate significantly decreases, try to de-activate it ^^

4 gigs? Up yer ram.... Windows 7 takes 4 gigs just to run...you need another 4 for recommended specs to run risen 2 so theres 8 gigs...

Ive played any game up to now with 4 Ram with no lag whatoever because its a decent setup otherwise. The game is garbage.

Anything i buy that i need to "troubleshoot" to play shouldnt be alowed to sell on steam.

4 gigs of ram to run windows 7!!!! your having a laugh. I played in 3d with max settings .

Got the AMD FX Eight core cpu too.. 8 GB RAM and so on... Don't know why my pc wont run it. Any help?

It's your nvidia card that's causing issues.
