Convincing Steelbeard

Im trying to get Steelbeard to let me join his crew but i cant seem to complete everything he wants me to do.
What I've done so far:
1. Got him his rum
2. Dealt with Meeks and the Sunken One
3. Helped defeat the Giant Crabs
4. Paid off Hank
5. Told him I went through the jungle

Theres probably something else I have done but I must be missing something extra, does anyone know what it is?

you know the guy u can drink with? get him to drink for his treasure map. also keep in mind you will need a painkiller also.

then u dig up the chest and you can brag to steelbeard about also get nice bit of loot from chest! another one is on his ship go up the stairs to the left, talk to that guy he will explain there is a chest downstairs no one can pick and if you do it you can keep whats in it. you will need 25 lock picking. after that u can brag to steelbeard.

i think another thing u missed must be ransacking the ruins that have idols. those ruins can be nasty. u can find it up past the 3 savages that are for the bounty quest. follow to the elft pased them. if u see two pillars u can walk through keep following it. be ready for traps =) so save often too

there is somethin nice u can fidn on way to the temple. i wont ruin what u get. it is a decent find tho and if i remember correctly it will be another thing u can brag to steelbeard about

and an fyi before you sail off(well u can always come back) there is 2 findable collectables(dont have to pay for them) on the island. u might want to look up a guide if u missed them

There are three temples to find btw.
Also you can free Largo from prison
And you can fight Hank
There are two treasures to dig up

Yeah problem is if you dont demand the bandana from that guy right away you cant speak to him anymore, same if you fail the drinking contest for the map it wont let you try again. Kinda stupid to fail you if those quests are apparently so important to the story.

I eventually got pissed off and unistalled it but ive got bored of my other games so i might reinstall the game and just do absolutely every damn quest i can find before going up to Steelbeard and yelling ARE YOU FKING HAPPY NOW YOU PICKY SOD?!

Is there a way to reset the quests? I have three heads that I can't do anything with because I accidentally pointed at the "Its not for me" when I was talking to the governor. If I could reset the quest I could get rid of them
