In Risen 1 and Gothic 2 there are cheat codes that let you speed up the game time so it doesn't take you forever to walk around everywhere. Are there cheats or mods that let you do that in Risen 2 and 3.

don't know about console commands or mods but there are fast travel locations, and not only relatively late in the game (depending on how much you explore before starting chapter 2 in risen, I explored a lot and teleport stones weren't that useful later). some places could've used a few more and sprinting for more than 5 seconds would've been welcome as well but it's not that bad.

No there aren't. But as Dohi64 pointed out you can teleport to any fast travel location you have been before. Just open the map and click on a location with a circle around it.

There are also sprint potions... like in Gothic 2... right? This might sound kinda bad, but I'm just not even going to try to play a 3d RPG without a way to speed up travel.

There is a sprint button. Using it makes you sprinting for a short time and then you have to wait a bit until you can sprint again. And teleporting is speeding up travel indefinitely. And you can teleport to every discovered teleport location from everywhere.

So that are your 2 ways of getting somewhere faster. If you don't like it then the game isn't for you.

In the previous Gothic games you could drink a potion which made you sprint for several minutes. Do we have anything like that here that I can stock up on with cheats? Or is this game not for me?

Discussions Rules and Guidelines
