Anyway, thanks again for responding. BTW, is it just me, or does the Voodoo path kinda suck? I find Chani to be a terrible companion, and the BS of using a Scepter or curse doll is so inefficient compared to the simplicity of a musket or shotgun blast. PLUS you gotta find and buy schematics for everything before you can even DO any of it.
TBH, I don't really use the voodoo abilities in combat, even though I always decide to help Chani. So why do I choose that route? Simple, really. It makes certain quests really easy, and pretty funny.
Actually, I found it to be the best, most useful aspect of voodoo. In fact, kinda makes Voodoo worth persuing, imho. And I can get it much earlier, if I'm willing to take on a tough fight on Isle of Dead (Chani opens the way there as soon as you finish Sword Coast, BUT it would be a nearly impossible fight that early in the game).
But for the most part, I agree that the voodoo combat abilities are pretty lame compared to a good boom-stick. Potions are decent, but I can get those with the Inquisition path, just by visiting Caldera.
