Savegame corrupted
So, I was just playing Dishonored 2 when my PC decided to crash. It rebooted, I went back to the game and my three latest savegames were corrupted. Any way to restore them? If no, then just ♥♥♥♥ it, I lost almost 10h of gameplay.

I'd look into issues with the actual hard drive. It sounds odd that three recent saves could all be affected.

The HDD I have Dishonored 2 installed on is a brand new WD Red 3TB, I've had it for a month now and it's been working well. But it is indeed a bit odd, as it deleted two manual saves and the autosave/quick save. But yeah, if there's no way to get them back, I won't probably touch this in a while. As good as the game is, it really ♥♥♥♥♥ up to lose over 10h of gameplay. A bummer, really

So, I found out that one savefile actually survived, which was at the start of the mission. So I actually lost "only 3h" of gameplay, but still. So I thought I'd continue as now I knew exactly what to do in that mission. I played for like 30 minutes and decided to do two manual savefiles + a quick save. Shortly after that, my PC crashed again. All those savefiles were corrupted, except for the one at the mission start. I don't know what to do, honestly. There's no point in playing this if it keeps doing this, as I can't proceed.

Hi!
Same problem here, my 3 saves corrupted. manualsave, autosave and quicksave. If i remember right the game locked up my pc the last time i was playing and forced med to do a coldreeboot. I have enjoyed the game so far, was almost done with the mission 3, but whats the point with starting over, will probobly happen again.

Yeah, I too cycle through a lot of manual saves. Although, I did have a kill bug that made me go back a couple hours. At least it takes a lot less time the second time through, knowing where all the guards are and how best to deal with them.

Hello! Sad to hear that, it's so frustrating and you completely lose the interest in the game. I think I was in mission 5 when this happened the first time. Thought I had to go back to mission 2, but luckily I had an autosave at the beginning of mission 5 which wasn't corrupted. My save files have been corrupted 3 times now, but I've been manually copying those save files. Currently in the last mission, my PC hasn't rebooted in a while now and I haven't lost any saves. I just installed a new PSU, so I hope that fixes my rebooting problem.
I recommend copying the save files in (C:) / Users / *Your name* / Saved games / Arkane Studios / dishonored2 / base / savegame. Hope that helps.

I'm in the same boat, lost everything at chapter 5 in a nonlethal run.

I guess there's really no other solution to this than copying the save files somewhere else and if the save files get corrupted again, just manually restore them. My problem went away when I bought a new PSU. No more crashing/rebooting, no more corrupted save files.
