PS4 version or PC version?
Is this like Arkham Knight again? I remember everyone complaining about Just Cause 3. Aside from occasional texture flickering, I've had no issues with the game's frame rate or game ending glitches.

Get if for PS4 to be safe. There is a lot of problems still on the PC. I just got the game today, installed it to my computer and it crashes every time you have to chose between corvo or emily in the begining of the game.

if you cap 30fps on pc version ,the game is smoother with no stutter .

If you have a decent system then try pc, if it doesn't work for you properly, just return it within the allotted time and get the ps 4 version, seems like an easy decision that way.

The hell you know. Your game ctd just after selecting Corvo or Emily due to your elder cpu and you come to say there is a lot of problems still on the pc, when you don't even played the game.

The Pasmid
There are some people experiencing problems with the game, others don't.
As Diablerie said purchase it on pc and you have two weeks or two hours to refund it, it will always be better than play it in a console when we all know it has problems too and barely reaches 30 miserably fps

If try on pc don't play the first mission, I mean you run through it just to reach de dreadful wale and get to Karnaca, rhere is where you will see a real performance.

According to my own experience, the game with the patch v1.3 runs very well even on Ultra graphics settings (Athlon X4 860K, 16 GB RAM, GeForce 960/2 GB, 1680*1050). Yes, there WERE some technical issues, but those ones are now history.

@The Plasmid: if your PC has a descent configuration (4-threaded CPU, 2 GB graphics card, 4-8 GB RAM), than you can buy and enjoy the PC version of this excellent game. Alas, it still doesn't support CPUs w/o SSE4.1 (Core 2 Quad 6***, Phenom I&II, Athlon II), so either you should wait for the next patch (Arkane has promised to release it on December) if you have a CPU w/o SSE4.1, or you can buy the PS4 version of the game.

In case you decide to choose the last option, please watch the Digital Foundry's technical analysis of the game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZrR7JVSSq4) - the both console versions (PS4 and XBO) look and work worse than the PC version.

If you have decent PC then you are still not safe, i buy it on PS4 and after i hear that the game have drops in every lvl i was bugged, because not anything like that happened to me. I will be honest, it has some drops, when you reach Karnaca and in "some"(no spoilers ;P) guy's mansion. That was all i remember so it's not that bad and still better then unstable PC version.
If you buy a physical copy you can just sell it later when you are bored and not satisfied with the game or games performance.
Do as you like ;)

Or wait till the game is fully patched, and pick it up on summer sale and save money than pay 60 dollar for the console version with inferior graphics and crapiier frame rate.

Doesn't the PS4 version drop to 20 fps and below in certain areas still?

It crashes for you because your CPU is from World War II. Just because you didn't bother to verify whether your under min-spec PC would run the game or not doesn't mean that others too should be having the same issues as you.

Stick to it on PC. Just cap the frame rate using the in-game limiter combined with Nvidia Inspector's. The PS4 version suffers from frame drops into the 20s, has screen tearing, and frame pacing issues. The PC version also has frame pacing issues but I find the results reduced/eliminated with the two frame caps mentioned combined.

If your PC's capable it shouldn't dip below its cap and if it does, reduce some settings.

Hello, can someone say if my I7 6700 HQ, 16 gb Ram, GTX Geforce 1050 can run this game well?
i dont really care for good graphics,i just dont want framerate issues.

I also have a PS4.
Sashi May 31, 2018 @ 12:31pm
