I missed a rune...

I missed the rune on the second mission before you leave the Dreadful Wale. Is this going to hurt me in the long run and should I restart the whole thing to get it or are there enough runes going forward that I won't get crippled in my build? Thanks.

You will be fine! There is around 45 runes in the game. Missing one will not be a hinderance.

Also you can forge runes.

Yeah when you get farther in, you will be able to break down charms, find bone, and use it to craft both more charms and actual runes to apply to skills. Just be sure to read and watch the tutorial about that. It can be confusing at first.

I also missed 1 rune there last night. I'm pretty sure I got the one in the boat and all the ones marked during the mission. Is there any other rune particularly hidden?

There are a few that you will definitely have to hunt for. Keep using your vision and heart, they're very helpful. Also that you can 'mark' specific ones when looking that way.
