Dust District Civilian Execution
Evening All

Having some issues with saving the civilians who are being executed in the Dust District. I can neutralize both of the Overseers but the civs just cower in place or don't run very far and are killed by other Overseers.

Have you tried to Domino all of them and use a sleep dart? Puts them all unconscious but they aren't dead at least.

This is how I safed them.
Seems I had luck with having dumb AI on those guards.

Here, I am walking back the way where the civilians walked through.
As there are no corpses of them, it seems they just bypassed all overseers without gettin' harmed.
Guess the overseers were pretty curious about what happened at the place of execution, rather than killing the people on the run.

In addition:
Oh, I even found them again here.
Actually pretty clever of them to seek a safe place there and not running down the whole way passing many overseers.
So the overseers hadn't any chance to kill them, as the civilians just rushed to that point and didn't even met any overseers on their rush.

You found them? Neat, I saved them, but afterwards they were just *gone*.

I can't do that. Maximum number of Overseers is six, Domino allows for four, the six are as follows:

2: Doing the execution

2: From the low path to the left of the first two. (where these come from I can't figure out as there are no doors or other paths they just appear)

2: (actual count unknown) at the far end of the path to the right of the first two.

Issue is, regardless of method used all four guards become agro'd and react even if they couldn't possibly have had LoS when the first two dropped. I don't know if this is a bug or not but with this current (replicatable) behavior (they behave the same EVERY time the civilians are the only ones who go all derpy and don't run) I don't think they can be saved. As I'm pretty sure it counts as me killing them if they are killed by overseers after I save them.

Have you considered using Domino ON THE CIVILIANS, and zapping one of THEM with a sleep dart?

Unconscious civvies don't run about getting murdered by Overseers, after all. :)

That's true, but won't the overseer just shoot them anyway?

Use Domino the on-the-scene Overseers, too.

one thing i noticed in scouting out the area of execution, when the two civilians run two overseers spawn in to stop them. They just appear out of nowhere.
Use potions. Domino, plus stop time, plus tagging any other guards that are already spawned and be alert for the ones that spawn in as Kay noted.
Happy saving :)
