Dev Update #1 - Vampirium: 1997

To kick things off, here’s an update on the game’s status from May. In it, I play a run through of The Manor, one of the first locations you visit in the game.

Defenestration?

I am not demanding it, but when you set your gameplay demo in a manor, I am thinking of the many windows of opportunity. ...Yet I only see doors marked on the map, no windows? ...But since I'm here, slightly more serious question: the screen gets blurred out for spoilers during a gameplay section where a code is entered to access a safe. Does that mean no randomized access code across different playthroughs?...

Will this work on Steam Deck and have HUD/text that's legible on such a small screen? The trailers do make some things seem a bit small..

Immersive sim? Bithell? I’m in.

Looks like a perfect match and a very interesting addition to the genre. I’ve enjoyed the Bithell games I’ve played before and immersive sim is my favorite genre, so I’m immediately interested in this. I love the unique design this has compared to other immersive sim titles and I believe this will allow for a lot of unique potential directions and interactions that might not otherwise be possible through a more traditional approach to these types of games. Just let me use a verb menu to stack boxes ...
