Retiring Lands of Hope Redemption

As most of you will already know the game has been dead since 2015/2016 and the game servers were turned off in 2016.

I've always enjoyed creating games, and allowing people to experience my creations. Unfortunately sometimes they don't work out.

This is one of those cases!

I appreciate everyone that took the time and energy to try the game out all those years ago and wish nothing but the best for you.

I am requesting Steam retire the game listing, so this should be my last announcement.

All Steam Accounts Now Receive a 199HC Credit

Regardless of whether you paid $1.99 for the game or received it for a cheaper price during a sale all new Steam accounts will receive a $1.99 credit in the store. Press Z in game to redeem your credit.

Existing Steam players fear not you have also received a retro-active $1.99 account credit. Press Z in game to redeem it.

New Game Code for Thanksgiving

In honor of Thanksgiving / Black Friday you can use game code GIVETHANKS in game for a new title and +2 Defense.

To use the code go to the GAME MENU via the ` key or clicking the Cog icon in the top left corner of the game window.

Doesnt work

Bought the game and im trying to play it and it says Installing M (1 of 1) and it does that then i try to load the game and it does the same thing.

Windows 10 Not Running Fix

Some people have expressed problems running the game under Win 10. This does not appear to affect all Win 10 users. If you run the game shortcut but the games does not appear to run yet game.exe shows up under Task Manager this solution may help you. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to your Steam install folder then find the Lands Of Hope Redemption folder under steamapps\common. Right click on game.exe and fin the compatibility mode options. Set the game to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode click OK...
