Looks like it's ok for me.
Each trinket gives 1/2/3/4 % of power, not 100%. So, if I had to guess, I would say you had 19 epic trinkets when you took your screenshot.
Thanks for the reply and prodding me into figuring out the actual equation
used in this calculation.
tldr;
I presumed the first additive equation and I was wrong.
The fifth equation at the bottom is the correct one.
A lot of the hard fun in this game is figuring out the equations.
Lady of the dead - five methods of calculation compared:
My screen shot
Common 1903%
Uncommon 1600%
Rare 684%
Epic 76%
Total bonus is quoted as 4.69e5%
1) Additive method
Bonus = 19.03 + 16.00 + 6.84 + 0.76 = 42.63 or 4263% or 4.263e3%
Thus if
DPS new = DPS current + (DPS current * 42.63)
= DPS current *43.63
== DPS current *4363%
== DPS current *4.363e3%
Total bonus is quoted as 4.69e5%
Conclusion is that my equation is very wrong.
2) Multiplicative method
Bonus = 19.03 * 16 * 6.84 * 0.76 = 1582 or 158200% or 1.582e5%
Thus if
DPS new = DPS current + (DPS current * 1582)
= DPS current *1583
== DPS current*158300%
== DPS current*1.583e5%
Total bonus is quoted as 4.69e5%
Conclusion is that my equation is still incorrect.
3) Sequential additive series (1%, 2%, 3%, 4%), units are current DPS.
Bonus = (19.03DPS)
+ ((20.03DPS)*16)
+ ((321.48DPS)*6.84)
+ ((2199.9232DPS)*0.76)
= 19.03DPS + 320.03DPS + 2198.9232DPS + 1671.941632
= 4209.924832DPS
== 420900%DPS
== 4.209e5%DPS
Total bonus is quoted as 4.69e5%
Conclusion is that my equation is still incorrect.
4) Sequential additive series (4%, 3%, 2%, 1%), units are current DPS.
Bonus = (0.76DPS)
+ ((1.76DPS)*6.84)
+ ((13.03DPS)*16.00)
+ (209.48DPS)*19.03)
= 0.76DPS + 12.03DPS + 208.48DPS +3986.4044DPS
= 4207.6744DPS
== 420767.44%DPS
== 4.20767e5%DPS
Total bonus is quoted as 4.69e5%
Conclusion is that my equation is still incorrect.
// That is the DPS is not updated between the application of bonus'
Bonus = (Common Bonus+1)DPS
+(Uncommon Bonus+1)DPS
+(Rare Bonus+1)DPS
+(Epic Bonus+1)DPS
Bonus = 20.03DPS * 17DPS * 7.84DPS *1.76DPS
= 4698.493184 DPS
== 469849.3184% DPS
== 4.6984e5% DPS
Total bonus is quoted as 4.69e5%
Conclusion is that my equation is close to the Cotli equation.
Comment: This is computationally faster than the Sequential additive series
and a more generous bonus for the player; sounds like win-win.
I'm myself more of a "hands on"-man and prefer actual tests more than calculate as the final result is what is important for me. When I have more legendaries, I will have to try more combinations and surely enough find some combos I could already do.
It's not that I'm bad at maths but I just don't like to just do a part of the job. Maybe one day I will try to make a personal complete calculation sheet ... A lot of work but it is worth the try
e.g I own a total of 1.5e4 uncommon trinkets. LotD tooltip show 1.5e4 but should be 1% =158
For uncommon trinkets, it's 2%, not 1%. Or maybe you have mistaken something when writing (common in place of uncommon ?).
But you didn't got it : EACH trinket gives 1/2/3/4% so lets say you have 20.000 common, 15.000 uncommon, 7.500 rare and 1.000 epic.
You have to calculate it like this :
20.000 common trinkets = 20.000 * 1% = 20.000% (and not 20.000 * 0.01 = 200)
15.000 uncommon = 15.000 * 2% = 30.000% (and not 300)
7.500 rare = 7500 * 3% = 22.500%
1.000 epic = 1.000 * 4% = 4.000%
The percentage stands here for a bonus in dps and not 1% of the trinkets. Look my screenshot earlier, add all of my common trinkets and compare with the bonus given.
At least for the bonus given, you can see it is correct. For the other formula, lets just say I'm lazy
Apologies for my verbosity and torrential spewing of numbers and equations. Succinctly:
The Trinket Bonus' for each of the Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic are calculated exactly as stated except that there is an extra 100% added to EACH before the individual Trinket Bonus' are summed to the Total Bonus. So there is an extra 400% thrown in .... In the equation 5 above the 100% bonus is represented by the '+1' and this occurs 4 times.
Remember that 100% = 100/100 = 1; I prefer raw units when writing equations and that has added to the muddy looking mess above.
@Spycorp
If you post a picture of your trinkets and a picture of Kebos LotD tooltip I will lay out the calculations line by line for you. (Take both pictures one after another and do not open any chest in between as this will add to the trinkets.) Don't be shy....
@Kylo Ded. Kebos is on a long mission. Will come back in 15h
When combined with Holddoor's Loyalty, she gets a very big bonus of DPS. I still don't get "This is a knife" and "the power of good" except for that challenge where only DPS are allowed (or maybe with her legendaries) but lady of the dead + unite the pieces grant a nearly infinite boost in DPS if we can have a lot of trinkets / plan correctly those EP missions.
Could easily beat area 1800 and nearly at 1900 only while switching deathpuddle for her
Yep I hear both of you, me too. I have only been playing for 4 months so every time I get a new crusader in a slot above 26 they are my new best... [Wolf, Rex, Xygalix, Kebos].
If I read the tea leaves correctly, the DPS tag and others will be adjustable with skins. The new Wrena the Foul skin is the first step in new higher level content.... it's coming. I presume the Synergy talent in Tier 3 will probably get a higher Tier 6 version as well so that this new mechanism will be active in deep runs way above....
https://crusaders-of-the-lost-idols.fandom.com/wiki/Wrena_the_Fair
Yeah I read that Wrena is the best DPS from those who have her with the legendary amulet well advanced but I can't compare because I could take on the T4 from Ana Guinness so I miss 4 or 5 T4 heroes.
But even like that, Kebos should not be far behind
On an unrelated note, do you use the site fantamondi ? I can't access it for the past 3 days
