Sure, OK I can understand that but there are a few things that really should be explained.
Also, does the Red Alert penalty disappear over time? With all the save me missions that keep appearing Im spending a fair amount on time at Red so far and that is really hurting crew loyalty =/
i have no idea, right now the game still has some game breaking bugs and glitches that make you question the real progress of development, also you should get a completion on the save me missions if you killed all the pirates not just destroying the ship;when its empty. The way the game is now with the save me missions their not worth it.
Pretty annoying having to restart a game just to tinker around trying to work out what's what.
Every thing you do is a little step forward and two back.I lost a crew member when boarded by the time I had worked out how to shoot back.
Currently the experience makes me switch off to other games. Not enjoying this method of learning the game.
I do agree that the game lacks quite some things in order to be properly playable and and enjoyable. However, are you aware that you are playing an alpha? What were you expecting?
On a different subject, I love the game artwork and concept, good luck to the devs to make a good game out of this :)
Currently there is just a gigantic learning curve. You have to learn the crew controls, the ship controls, combat, teleporting and we REALLY want to wean you into the game.
But the truth is tutorials are typically designed at the very end of games so that they can be a nice flow of what exists. This is very much a placeholder to get the very basics out of the way so that the game isn't impossible to pick up.
It's hardly perfect but for now it will carry some of the weight until we get a really good one in with the introduction of planets.
Yea - we are just dropping you into essentially a midgame scenario and onboarding a LOT of info at once. We really want to back off the flow a bit so its a little more fun.
SCG right now feels like braining myself with my own tower, so went back to FTL to scratch the itch.
Hell I even tried playing SC on my iPad, but that thing has slowly been crapping out on me for a while now, so that didn't pan out so well either :)
