If you like raiding, take cybran, for lots of cheap units, take UEF, for more powerful units, go for aeon.
What Baldrickk posted above about faction strengths is hilariously wrong. The way the factions stack up is
- UEF: Most powerful, slowest units, meant for head-on confrontations. The best faction for turtling in your base.
- Cybran: Versatile units focused on speed, special abilities and guile meant for guerilla warfare rather than direct combat. Very impressive offensive experimentals and powerful research skills for unlocking them.
- Illuminate: The get-in-your-face highly aggressive gameplay faction. These guys don't sit around building sand castles, they move for the kill right away. Highly mobile units centered around teleportation technology. Also specializes in reconnaisance/espionage. Powerful air force.
you seem to me to be confirming what I said,
