Supreme Commander 2

Supreme Commander 2

Future Expansion or new Addition to the series: Revenge of QAI
I believe that there should still be more to the series as some things are left unfinished. I believe that QAI, which has reactivated in the end of FA, has established is primary directive: destruction of all of humanity by any means. In this at one point, QAI has taken control of Dr. Brackman's brain via a transmitted virus and Commander Gauge knowingly serves QAI, despite the lies it gives him. Evaluator Kael, having gone into hiding after the Seraphim defeat, recently appears and serves QAI to take revenge on the Illuminate. Also, a renegade UEF commander, Brigadier Horace Flares, works for QAI. QAI also sends a biological virus to the recently elected president and vice president of the coalition, corrupting their minds to serve QAI.

I believe if this would be an expansion, it would have 3 campaigns of 4 operations each, though they are much longer than SupCom 2, perhaps as long as operations in Supreme Commander and Forged Alliance. The campaign will use units and techs from the Infinite War DLC.

The first campaign goes through Ivan Brackman without Dr. Brackman and his first skirmishes with forces under QAI.

The second campaign puts you in control of Illuminate forces under a powerful guardian named Tigris, who lost his purpose and wanders the galaxy, only to be attacked by QAI's forces and learns more about its plot. He must assist Thalia Kael, who was sentenced to pay for her terrorist acts with the enemies' deaths, or her's.

The third campaign, you play as Sarah Clarke of the UEF, the great grandaughter of the deceased Samantha Clarke. She fights a desparate war against the forces of QAI and learns that it plans to make a new "Black Sun" weapon. QAI's true intention is to reopen the rift between humanity and the Seraphim dimension and at the same time, use it to destroy most of the human worlds.

In the final mission, Dr. Brackman, free from QAI's influence, reveals of his slavery to QAI and how he has merely disabled it until the Seraphim were defeated, but realizes his mistake as QAI is beyond redemption. Sarah must aid them in striking down QAI once and for all. He and Ivan Brackman merge minds in order to defeat this AI once an for all. Once the new Black Sun was destroyed before completion, Ivan and Dr. Brackman sacrifice themselves to send a virus to corrupt and uttery destroy QAI and anything under its control. Of course, both the president and vice president were corrupted by QAI and died as a result of the virus.

In the ending, the names of all those who died as a result of the anti QAI virus were embedded on a grand monument in the original homeworld of the Cybrans. Every decade, people are to visit this monument to honor and mourn those affected by the virus, including Dr. Brackman and Ivan Brackman along with the president and vice president. The UEF was without a leader or his successor. But they found a new leader; after a voting process, Sarah Clarke, hero of the war against QAI and great grandaughter of Samantha Clarke, was now president of the UEF.

The post credits ending shows her first days in office; she prepares to wade in the sea of politics and resolves to avoid being corrupted by power and maintain peace with the Illuminate and Cybrans.

I wish that there was a possibility for this but since Gas Powered Games don't exist anymore its all in the air. It all depends on Wargaming.net the owner of Wargaming Seattle (former Gas Powered Games rests) if it gives allowance to Chris Taylor to develop something like that.

I like the idea and would also like that as a dlc/expansion. Perhaps something like that will happen if they ever do a supreme commander 3.

I know quite a few of the team moved to planetary annhilation, but I just cannot seem to get into it at all, something just feels "missing", cannot put my finger on it as on paper it should be a fun game, but I just find it tedious, which is odd as I generally enjoy most rts games (though I also hated c&c 4).

Also we don't know QAI's true goal, destruction of humanity for sure isnt.

Yep it did :( While I still like it as a game in its own right, it is a terrible sequel.

I'm sure it's goal was to bring the seraphim to destroy humanity.

well thats what he did but the ultimate reasons for that remain unclear, presumably he also thinks that the seraphim are some kind of gods
