Still no keybindings and graphics only marginally better. Too few normal units, too many experimentals. Dumbed down version of everything.
Can you even repair with more than one unit any more? Or build? Or help production?
When I try to repair with more than one nothing happens. I hear production too does not get benefit (or very small). In first SC all engineer production was added directly to factory.
Or in the aeon campaign, a commander gage shows up who you have never met before and is not even part your race, he, tells you to basically attack your own side, and you blindly do it without phoning or checking a single thing hes telling you? I mean really, that is just stupid.
What's that big red circle that appears if I hold and drag right mouse button? (might have seen it with CTRL too)
Oh and since you mentioned cut scenes, why are they so choppy and freeze? (the 2D video ones I mean, the 3D are fine)
Is it a bad game? No. In truth it's better than most RTS games. But after SC1 it's kind of like getting a degree from MIT and then being asked to do manual labor. Oh, wait, no it isn't, because that happened in Half-life and the game only got better. Likewise, it also needs a third installment, but don't tell Gabe I said that.
That's just my cranky old opinion, though, complete with complaining about how they don't make 'em like they used to and kids these days. I think I'll spend some time waiting for Grass Simulator 2: Get Off My Lawn edition while I mass experimentals against the pitiful AI for the last push.
Also supcom 2 has major battles, ive had bigger battles with the ai in supcom 2 then forged alliance AI.
