Sys.dat file lost. Is there any way I can cheat to manually trigger certain achievements
So, recently my external hard drive got bumped during the game loading up and the sys.dat file got corrupted. For those that don't know, this file seems to handle the game unlocks and achievements across save files. This means that my in game achievement data was basically reset. Initially, I thought this wouldn't really matter too much as the achievements are still registering on steam, but after getting 180 achievements the bunny lover 80% didn't trigger. And that means that even if I went and get the rest I'd still be missing two by the end.

This is honestly pretty upsetting, especially since the data got lost pretty far into my achievement run and it will take a long time to get them all back. Is there any way I can just cheat to instantly unlock the achievements I've already gotten? This would make things so much easier for me. I'd hate to get this far and have to essentially start over.

Unless you want the in game squares to unlock (doesnt seem like it since you dont seem to be bothered missing those), then I dunno if you can perhaps open the .dat file using a simple editor (notepad) and see if this isnt saved as plain text and edit accordingly.

I've already checked the file out in notepad and unfortunately it wasn't in plain text. Your other solution seems great though! I think I'll try that out if I can't get the completion achievements to proc normally! Thanks a ton!
