References within the game
... kind of pointless thread. :P
Perhaps none of the characters reference any character from anime/manga/games and it's just coincidence, but the achievements on the other hand does so that's mostly what I'm asking for. :P

I know Vanilla and Chocolate along with the achievements for these two reference Vanilla and Chocola from Nekopara.

I also believe Syaro and her achievement references Syaro from the anime/manga "Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?".

What about the others? o;

The others I have no clue so I'm just curious if any of the other characters reference some character from another game or anime/manga/Light novels. :vanilla2:
While some it feels like I kind of recognize when looking at the achievement names but can't pinpoint where from. :P

Shimakaze, Chigoe (Nisekoi), Hakase (Nichijou), Annaka Haruna (Nichijou).

Miru must be into retro games because she straight up has Dr. Wily's attacks from MM5.
Oh, also, Pandora's staff looks exactly like Anubis Necromancess' staff from Mega Man Zero, and she likes to throw it around the same way, too. The sarcophagi she throws at you also have a similar design to Necromancess' pillars.

I'm glad the Irisu in this game isn't as creepy as the other bunny with the same name...

Woo, Nichijou references, best game ever if true.

xD

Wonder if I should compile all references people post here and put in first post...

At some point, Erina says she wishes her ears could spin around so she could fly, to which Ribbon says something to the effect of 'not unless your name is 'Rose''. Di Gi Charat reference?

You mean the one from Yuru Yuri? Yeah I can see that... or better yet I can't, lol :IrisHeartRebirth3:

I've also been thinking Irisu might be a reference to Alice in Wonderland, her chapter is titled Irisu in Wonderland, and as if that wasn't clear enough, in japanese Alice is pronounced "arisu"
And then there's her outfit which just screams "white rabbit"...

She's got the headband and she's blonde but that's about it... She's more like a slighly grown up but still little version of the professor/Hakase from Nichijou than Shimakaze.

Now, if I only knew of another pink-haired fairy named Ribbon. It seems to remind me of a Nintendo game. HMMMMMMMMMM...

Wonder if that mysterious stone tablet in the middle of Rabi-Ribi Town called Stele is a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion...

A stele is a real term used for monuments like that.
