This.
Purple for its boost attack applying a debuff on the enemy. It's rapid attack is great for finding secret breakable blocks due to its wide range.
Green's charge for if the enemy is too far out of reach, the homing charge is really nice for that.
Blue's boost for if the enemy goes off screen. The homing bullets appear to stick around a little bit before they come back on, netting some damage that would have been wasted if you just idled.
Red's burst is amazing for multiple targets, more so with the burn debuff it applies. It's boost is also great against bosses that have the 99 reflect. But it requires some pre-aiming to be effective.
They all have their uses in various moments, but I suppose personally, I love the yellow one the most.
Purple's charge could use a rework. I don't think I've ever had an instance where I'd have found Purple useful.
