Has anyone lost their overall level

So i was at level 11 or something over but i have looked recently and been demoted down to level 4, anyone else noticed this? completed all the lib skirmishes and played 300+ hours of normal games (no custom settings and i do not play with mods). Is this a bug?

That makes no sense, when you load up the game, in the bottom left corner is a level that is an overall level bud. It should not change. i am not talking about MP either.

This IS the nation-specific level. Sunbeam is correct.

Each nation has a separate rank.

Rank isn't worth anything anyway.

They should add rank based achievement for each nation just like in MOWAS 2.

These guys are so dumb... Why not have an overall score, i mean the xp is BS and makes less sense, but thanks for clearing it up for me guys. Another reason to moan about the game lol

You are wrong, i was right this is an overall level, it doesnt matter who i play as that level is 4 and 100% has been reset. Any of you that said this is a national level like USA or Germany is wrong and you need to check your facts. I also get this level is kinda irrelevant but we need more things to encourage gameplay and currently this game is a constant let down with people speculating about most things. I am spending a lot of time understanding what this game is and how everything is displayed and why but i keep scratching my head, i just dont get why you would have a level system if it stands for nothing and offers nothing too considering mods shut off XP along with custom games.

Imagine actually caring about a game and wanting to show off my XP levels.
Dont go into marketing mate.

My point is if you want more of a player base (this has a tiny one) you need things for people to go after, whether it is levelling up with XP based background achievements or unlocks within the game, this had some kind of level system but no unlocks so yes i would like to see this game get more funding to update and upgrade it.

Rather than blabbering about people being wrong you can go and look for yourself.
In the menu open extras then look for the tab called leaderboard.

Your "rank" for each nation is listed there. compare the different nations and you'll find the value for one of those leaderboard nations will be the rank displayed back on the main screen.

Whatever nation you played last is the "rank" that is displayed when you login next.

Make sue you actually play a multiplayer game and complete the game or the nation probably won't change.

Also note your rank doesn't increase with "missions". Only multiplayer games count towards gaining rank. Conquest and local skirmish increase rank. I doubt any of the single player skirmish missions will increase your rank.
