AA still not working

Every AA you can buy will not shoot down any plane. It is an big problem and excist as long as the game. It tryed to shot down a plane in first person several time, but the first person worked not that great. And it also for sure not that easy to do. But having 3 AA near a point and not one plane will be shoot down, kills the game.

There is a mod (only one I use) called "Improved Ammo Selection & Auto-medic & Random Weather" that has success in the downing of A/C with AA, AAA and MG mounted vehicles, the ammo selection and AA gun usage is automatically on by default no switch to turn them off, however, the auto-medic and the random weather can be turned on and off if you don't want to use them.

I'm not as lucky as a lot of you guys are, I usually get one Plane a battle and it never gets a chance to drop a bomb. A few Months ago I was in a early Conquest battle and was getting a bomber like every 15 mins(I play 3000 Victory Points). I had a tracked German 88 parked right next to the Flag. The Bomber made the same approach every time. All I had to do was make sure the 88 was facing front and it killed the Bomber every time. There are 2 or 3 reasons why the AA guns fail to even get a shot off at a Plane. That goes for AT guns, Tanks,...etc. I don't know what your reasons are, I just know the AA guns shoot down Planes.

I play Vanilla and my AA guns do an outstanding job, well above 90% kill rate. That said....the AA Gun needs to be in/near the flight path of the plane...so what I do is i find an area on the map that has good side to side road or field, point my AA Truck perpendicular and when the Enemy plane arrives, noting his flight tract, immediately drive the AA truck into that flight path.

Knowing where the planes will go isnt guess work..just look where your highest value tank or tanks are clustered and the plane will usually go there, and its usually in/near the middle of the map.
