What does crew veterancy do exactly?

So in conquest I understand infantry giants health, stamina, weapons proficiency and stuff.

But what does it do for tank or artillery crew?
Same as infantry, no effect on the actual tank or cannon?

Yes It increase crew's pistol skill and their health. But does it affect the vehicle they are in at all? Speed, rate of fire, accuracy?

in the lower right when you take control of a vehicle, there is an efficiency stat that goes up as the crew gets experience. I notice they reload faster for sure.

from what i read it mostly affects their accuracy, in theory this means a vet 0 infantry will have the least accuracy while a vet 8 tanker will get the most out of the cannon
