(Auto) Healing

So i have to babysit all my squads and individual soldiers to take a healing portion, like 95% of the time. Even when the health bar is already in the red they don't care about their medic packs and continue to fight to death. Alot of micro, even more since i cannot click and activate all squads by clicking the squad icon.( bug?)
Does anyone know of a mod fixing/improving self-healing, like heal if health below a threshold of say 50% health or smth? Or maybe there's an option i missed?

yeah its frustrating as hell that the devs can't implement any kind of self acting player ai when the skirmish and conquest ai has it.

I noticed that they would 'auto heal' when out of danger or fight...
ex. if a squad managed to destroy an attacking enemy unit, they will auto heal when they're free of actions i.e. they're not fighting or while in cover...

*another thing, try to select all squads by highlighting them then press F8.
