Report a translation problem
It has been discussed before but I don't recall any developer commenting on any plans for adding it.
I suspect that it might not be as good as it sounds.
One player will probably gain a 'lead' in the early battles and the losing player just disappears and doesn't play again.
At least with one off matches losing a game doesn't put you in a 'bad' position for the next match. With Conquest a player could lose a large part of their force and be unable to effectively fight back for subsequent battles.
What makes you think PvP conquest will be any different?
If anything I expect it would be worse.
You can only use what you have researched and research points are limited.
research big tank and decent infantry ........ WIN.
research elite tier 5 infantry cover with decent support ...... WIN.
research low tier infantry and useless AT gun ... LOSE
Rinse and repeat.
You can't refund research points so once you've spent them you are locked into your choice.
You didn't research a decent AT gun and the enemy has a decent tank? Now you've got a problem that will continue in every battle until you get enough RP to "catch up".
If somebody crams all their research to get to 1 elite unit then they probably wont win. There isnt a 1 type of unit beats all. It would make them 1 dimensional. In the regular games all the tech is already there so they dont have to worry about it.
conquest would be much better. They might have to tweak the economics so that 1 players doesnt run away with manpower from each win but thats about it.
