Problem with inf
I found that gamplay with inf is a bit cranky, what i mean is the the ai of the individual soldier as an example you you have a house with a 2m high fence sorrunding it and you push one of your soldiers in and he stands right before an enemy soldier and he takes 10s to for your soldier to open fire so i find that the basic ai for inf is bad and because of that the inf requires babysitting and it cant really be used to assault because it dies very fast going to my next point inf isnt strong enough against inf everything in Goh is so deadly against inf apart from inf itself i like every other aspect of this game but inf gameplay is really dissappointing

Always set Infantry to "Move At Will". This is mandatory if you want your soldiers to have a survival chance on the battlefield.
This will allow them to use tactical advance when moving to an objective instead of blindly rushing it and die like lemmings.

Tho I won't lie, currently only the American infantry has a "good" AI when it comes to individual soldiers. They push with tactical advance, moving from cover to cover, using suppressing fire and tactical retreats as well. They stay alive way longer.

Meanwhile the 2 original factions that are Germany and Russia have soldiers so dumb even with Move At Will they'll "tactically advance" and more often than not forget to fire when encountering an enemy.

It's on its way as we speak but the 2 original factions' infantry AI is getting a rework that is dearly needed.

I will try move at will some more. The few times I have, I come back to them and they are standing out in the open waiting to be killed.

My play style may mask that issue as i only use them as spotters and keep the rest hidden behind massive firepower.

V1.037 FoW off. I still get the occasional AI path finding bug but Nothing like it use to be. I played for about an hour and a half yesterday(GermanSkirmish "Kharkov") and my Infantry performed Great. I use Free Fire and Hold Position. I Assault with a 12 Man Squad. With a Sniper, an Officer and sometimes a Medic. There still is a Bunch of "Babysitting" but that's' just part of this Game.

In fact almost all my Units did what I told them to do. I've always had a blast playing this Game even with the WTF AI moments, but now it's great not having to go looking for that lost Mortar Unit or trying to get a Supply Truck out of a bunch of trees.

I Never Ever use the "Move At Will" mode and I successively assault all types of Bad Guys. I also setup Killing Zones that My Units will constantly make the Enemy AI pay for in Infantry and Tanks when they try to come from that direction.

This Game is a Take Charge kind of Game. It's up to the Player to figure out how to get the Job done. If you think it's good idea to let your troops roam around on there own and you find them later "standing out in the open waiting to be killed" will that didn't work so now you have to try something else.

The Infantry in this Game(and the other Units) are way to much fun not to use.

Bro try using inf against players all the minor problems that you had with inf against ai will become major problems against players like that they take cnturies to shoot at the enemy

OK, so your talking about the AI in MP games. Yeah, I never play MP, had I known you were talking about MP I wouldn't of made a comment. I have Years of experience using Infantry(MoW-GoH) in a SP battle but absolutely none in MP battles.

Geez move at will only useful as when some enemy throw nade at ur unit and they will jump away to prone with hand in the head. It basically have ur units like AI defender that keep hearing all the shoot out from other zone then they will try to move to check what that is tiny bit by bit
