This will allow them to use tactical advance when moving to an objective instead of blindly rushing it and die like lemmings.
Tho I won't lie, currently only the American infantry has a "good" AI when it comes to individual soldiers. They push with tactical advance, moving from cover to cover, using suppressing fire and tactical retreats as well. They stay alive way longer.
Meanwhile the 2 original factions that are Germany and Russia have soldiers so dumb even with Move At Will they'll "tactically advance" and more often than not forget to fire when encountering an enemy.
It's on its way as we speak but the 2 original factions' infantry AI is getting a rework that is dearly needed.
My play style may mask that issue as i only use them as spotters and keep the rest hidden behind massive firepower.
In fact almost all my Units did what I told them to do. I've always had a blast playing this Game even with the WTF AI moments, but now it's great not having to go looking for that lost Mortar Unit or trying to get a Supply Truck out of a bunch of trees.
This Game is a Take Charge kind of Game. It's up to the Player to figure out how to get the Job done. If you think it's good idea to let your troops roam around on there own and you find them later "standing out in the open waiting to be killed" will that didn't work so now you have to try something else.
The Infantry in this Game(and the other Units) are way to much fun not to use.
Bro try using inf against players all the minor problems that you had with inf against ai will become major problems against players like that they take cnturies to shoot at the enemy
