Supply Question
Hi, I was wondering if a supply truck holds the same amount of ammo as a ammo crate or cart. Logic says it should but in the game??? The cost difference in units, 4 points to 6 points makes me think the only advantage (or disadvantage) is in it being motorised ... Thanks for any thoughts or responses.

Cheers,

AKL

No supply trucks have the most (2000 I think) the larger trailers have medium (500 ammo) and the ammo crate and small German handcart have the least (250 ammo).

All of them regardless of type have a regeneration of 6 per minute. So if you want long term supply on a mission you might be better off with 2 x supply crates rather than 1 x trailer.

Supply trucks use fuel but can reposition faster. For larger artillery pieces I just use an ammo truck.

For infantry guns, AT guns and mortars I generally use an ammo crate.

I use an ammo crate to loot the field after battles in Conquest are over. It's not worth using a vehicle for that because it costs more in fuel that the worth of the junk you get.

Thank you Saxhorn, much appreciated. Are you aware of a bug that constantly jams one of your tanks in its starting position? This is happening to me quite often now. I have four tanks and one flak panzer in my force and one of them is always getting jammed in its start position ...?

Cheers,
