Mines are always invisible to the enemy player until individually discovered with a mine detector or using this method...
Also works with infantry but dang just don't lol.
You can also use explosives to clear mine fields if you're desperate enough, indirect fire weapons with HE rounds work best here it just make take a while and you'll probably miss a mine or two.
Mine detectors are THE best way to ensure you get as many as possible as they get flagged and you'll be able to see the pattern and understand better if you've gotten them all. Once flagged, they're harmless and can even be picked up and redeployed against the enemy ;)
Goggles' method isn't as bad as it sounds though, works very well with AP mines which will be harmlessly triggered. Infantry won't trigger AT mines, and I've never ever seen the AI mix mines the way I do to the AI lol.
The mine clearing tank is just a tad niche of an option, it's only good for me (so far) for clearing mines before an area is secure (no combat or combatants present or risk thereof)
