Dynamic Campaign and Research we need to know # of helments prior
When ya click on a thing that shows locked it shows how much it costs .. but does not show the helments it will cost until ya reasearch it and it is available to see perhaps we should be able to see the number of helments.... for various reasons including

ONCE YOU RESEARCH SOMETHING YOU CANNOT GO BACK AND UNRESEARCH IT so perhaps we should be able to see cost .. which we can see and the number of helments .. we can see the infantry for example that comes with it .. thanks .. for example a medic comes with a certain type of leader thing .. wooo hoo

Conquest mode is easily what most of the playerbase plays, and yet stuff like this, and late war squads aren't in. Its extremely frustrating, basic concepts are ignored.

As long as you don't apply the selected research point(s) you can click on it/them again to get the point(s) back.

Agree with OP on this point. The research tree should show more infos about the research nodes. Especially new players want to know what they spend there research points for in advance. Costs, some description text about strength and weakness of the unit and stats as a tooltip when hovering research nodes would be a big QoL improvement.

You can but to see the deployment (CP) cost you have to apply and go back to the main/purchase screen. This just needs a UI change so it is either displayed in the unit details or isn't obscured by the locked graphic on the unit card. Now you can save, apply research check and reload since it doesn't autosave, but it would be a big QoL fix for those that are trying to plan what they can fit in their group/total CP caps.
