Devs your performance issues are back
Ever since the recent update the lag and stuttering issues have returned with a vengeance. Used to be able to play Conquest and MP on Ultra buttery smooth. Now it just lowers my graphics to the lowest possible in the first minute of the game and is still unplayable. Clearly not a graphics issue

Same here, does anyone know why when i play liberation Im getting weird texture glicthes covering my screen but coming from objects on map?

I think it has to be a memory leak with certain factors. I think they built the new update with the old original liberation build. Hopefully it will be an easy quick fix

Ok,

I'm the devs #1 fan. #1 rager on performance issues. However, I downloaded the game for the 4TH TIME in 60 days and this time it feels solid - SUPER SMOOTH FRAMERATES AND NO INPUT LAG. WAY TO GO DEVS!!!!.

HOWEVER, here's what I'm doing differently. Proceed at your own risk. If your potato PC catches on fire I don't want to hear about it. But I love this game so I went ahead and did it.

I followed most of the steps in this guys video, with the exception of changing my network adapters DNS. That was dumb.

Lastly - I'm also now using Nvidias auto overclock tool. It's in the overlay with nvidia geforce. I think press and hold ALT+Z and you'll see a button called performance. You have to enable a setting and agree that it may screw up your PC so use at your own caution. I used to overclock with MSI now I just use this.

Honestly I only have a little bit of stuttering when it comes from other players pc performance. If you see a player with red signal bars next to their ping - tell them to lower settings or kick em out. Also pings > 250ms will cause lag.

Lastly, the game eats up a lot of RAM. Why? I don't know, I'm not a developer. If I had to guess, it's accommodate for slow read / write speeds of hard disk drives for some of our indigenious early 2000's PC playerbase. Accessing from RAM imo I would assume would be faster than pulling from the HDD. Also WHO uses an HDD in 2023 anyways? But people still do. Hence why you get lobby load times with players that are sometimes atrocious - sometimes taking 10 to 20 minutes to load.

The only thing I wish I could have done was do these changes post recent update that they pushed. Just to be able to say with certainty if these steps worked. But it didn't take me long, provided you have fast internet and the capability to follow basic instructions and ability to use google search for nivida auto overclock.

Just went on after the latest update (mp skirmish vs AI) and noticed a LOT of stutters again. Whereas before It was minimal. I'm playing on the highest settings: 1080p @120hz, RTX 3080TI I9 12gen.
