Report a translation problem
There are pre-placed defender MGs in Conquest later in the campaign.
You can't crew these weapons because you aren't meant to be able to capture them.
You can take the repair kit and ammo from them.
It ultimately comes down to how they're created in the editor. There's a property for "vehicles" (includes mg, mortar AT guns etc.) and whether they can be recrewed/captured.
It's sort of like a part of the map.
If the MG was spawned by the AI:Heroic / AI:Hard / AI:Normal / AI:Easy then it's a standard MG that you can capture and keep.
You'll find the same things happens with AI : Defender Laffette MG34s if you play as USSR.
