Anyone else find the story missions boring and clunky?

Ive tried a couple times to get into the story missions of this game but never make it through the 18 minutes of preparation of the first one. It's just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clunky trying to get the decoy guns built. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful.

Decoy Guns are easy, just pick up two pieces wood in wood pile and carry them to the location. One thing I was never fan of was mine laying (in any men of war style game), its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tedious to do. Building trenches, ditches and firing positions is fun, but damn if I am gonna mentally abscond from existence when mine laying.

Thats funny, i love building defenses including mines.

I love all the story missions of the game (except for one stealth mission, I think it was called "The cold supper")

I wish there was a way to lay them by area and have it work on a system of troops will go pick up mines from nearby piles automatically.
