Tiger II (H) Being very vulnerable to T-34-76
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2981382889

4th time in the row. This time devastating effect.

EVERY time this 2 tanks facing each other i have to focus my tigers on T-34-76 instead 85mm or any other as this tank somehow trapshot my tiger II (NOT A SINGLE TIGER I). It happen every match. Sometimes i see where it hitted tiger (mantlet > ricochete to hull) sometimes unknown location. But if Tiger II looses more fights with T-34/76 than Tiger I, something is off here. Even panthers dont suffer that much.

And this + my solders blindness (no matter of veterancy) lead to situations where My tigers get down before they even know from where. This really need overhaul (visibility).
No matter terrain advantages on my side (my tanks half-visible or even totally hidden in treeline in bushes) and disadvantage on enemy (open field, river, etc) my tanks mostly see enemy second. Sometimes they even wont react to enemy fire.

In regards to Visibility: I've learned, early on, to never confuse might with sight.

Whenever I have a command of Tiger tanks, Offensively, or, Defensively, I strip my recon forces, if available, of their offensive capabilities, (Don't Fire at anything command) if no recon is present then I'll use just about any type of infantry unit, Officer's, Snipers and even "Ammo Bearer's". I'll look for a relative, out of the way, piece of cover, well outside of the visibility of my main force then belly crawl them to hide in it and observe just before I start to creep forward offensively, or, if I'm holding on to a newly acquired piece of property. I'll, always, send out my scouts and/or an extra set of quiet eyeballs to burn off the fog of war that is hiding all the things extremely dangerous to my, beloved, yet, nearsighted, Tigers.

A good Motto for all your Heavy Weapons Platforms should be;

"What's beyond their Sight will, Most, Certainly, be Within Range of their Might".

That's very nice strategy for fog of war. I play without it, as this is not my playstyle.
And just to be clear - enemy spanw 2 t-34/76, no infantry at this spawn, and those two tanks notice my heavily camouflaged tanks with no problem. Start to fire at them, while my tanks do NOTHING. And keep HE loaded (!).
No enemy infantry in range, only friendly (defence mission).

This is definitely broken.

Historical accuracy, the British disabled one but with a short 75mm, 76 is even stronger.

I get it is possible, but it happen way to often. 85mm, is not doing such things, 45mm is not doing such things and even 122mm is not doing such things. Only 76mm.

So i just made quick test in editor, against 6 x T-34/76. Result is very close those which i described, but in conquest SinglePlayer vision and AI aiming is much better, resulting even 1 T-34/76 making such things in 1-2 shots.

On video, note one ricochete into hull's roof didint kill the tiger, but some hit in some unknown place did (it wasn't hull roof).

I think AI will always aim for weak spot if it pen able. I playing Hotmod and charging my M60 toward China 37mm autocannon and it begin firing exclusively to my track and do no damge and cuz my gun barrel slightly blocking the track soo it got damage alittle. Well, from the look of video on slow mo it look like they pen through left side right beside the MG hole from point of view of this video. I cant tell exactly where shot landed but 30% it might be that it pen MG hole but I pretty sure man of war 2 they cant pen there. Welp It just pure War Thunder aim moment

I think, when you turn off fog of war, everyone 'benefits' from it, even AI. So it will always know where you are.

It's hard to tell without knowing exactly what the T-34 is hitting, but in the reverse situation the Tiger2 H is basically invulnerable to my tanks, even the 85mm ones struggle if they aren't showing their side.
The only shot trap on the H model in game is the underside of the barrel afaik, and the AI will target the barrel since its the only place their shells will work.

This kind of hit will allow a T-34 and many other smaller gun tanks to blow up the tiger 2 H but it takes some luck. It's a lot more reliable than in real life though, the simplistic way ricochets work in game with the hit angle like this you are effectively guaranteed the shell will redirect into the roof with enough penetration left. If the turret is aimed off the front left or right corner it will likely hit the ammo too.

It might be that the health system. Call to Arm dev did say they have health for tank for each part but like for King it gotto take ton of weak shot to disable but for whole tank explode? dat pure Brah

OH OH I think I see it on that video after re watch. They pen through under armor like between left track and hull. OR the gear of front track can kill your hull??? WHAT?? From the spark of impact it look like the shell somehow go right and pen hull to disable hull. 80mm of armor cant stop low vel 76 gun?? I dont know anymore

there is no tank health in GoH. But we'll check this report all the same of course.

The hit in the video looks like a glitch where it hit just right to exploit the shape of the model, angles etc and do something unexpected probably snuck in behind the front right wheel. The video seems to show that the Tiger2H's armor is working really well! Player tanks would have probably run out of ammo before getting that hit. A real Tiger2 would have been shaken apart with that many hits.
If you direct control your tank you can get the shot trap hit like in the video or my screen shot which is a exploitative way to take out that tank and couple of others in game.

very vulnerable? im sorry but i watched the video and it took like 200 shots for one to finally do the trapshot thing

you have much more range, guaranteed pen gun, many chances to react
sounds like a skill issue to me if your tiger2 dies to t3476

Did you see first screenshot? T-34 ONE SHOOTED ME and blow up whole tank, before my crew have even reacted. What skill have to do with this?

It happened 4th time in the row (first time with explosion of vehicle)

Lot more testing. On video end they blow my tank. So you may call this perfect strom of events, as it look totally random, but they do can blow vehicle up, and there may be some weak spot.
