Recovery vehicles, retextured captured vehicles for conquest
It would be very nice if every nation had some type of recovery vehicle and armoure supply vehicle, like the Bergetiger, Bergepanthe and the Munitions III and IV.
It would be also very nice if combat engineer or heavy engineer had the option to build repair depots, where the tanks and vehicles can be fixed quickly and the before mentioned recovery vehicles can resupply with parts

this has cropped up before.

it's quite a popular(?) idea but I'm mot sure how it would function in practice and for MP or SP or both?

Any ideas?

I'd like to see em as a purchaceable unit for the capture the flag style missions, so one would have to tow a wreck to a safe area and then instruct the crew to repair the vehicle.

toolboxes still could repair parts but not entire vehicles. eg a wheel/engine/turret/track but would then be used up which would encourage using the repair vehicle for serious damage and in fight/field repairs could still be achieved without but to a lesser degree.

thoughts?

This idea would be mainly for conquest, since recovery vehicles in MP are almost useless. In Conquest they would be very useful, for example when yoit tiger or panther gets damaged near a CP you could roll up in a Bergetiger or a Bergepanther to tow it out of danger and get it running asap.
Same with the munitionspanzers. Your Karl is out of ammo? No problem, the munitionspanzer IV was designed to carry ammo for it.

Regarding retextured captured vehicles, it's unlikely to happen because of the huuuge amount of work required (and for that matter, probably a new system for assigning the textures).
As for ARVs and supply tanks, I fully agree (tho I don't see what a supply tank would offer a supply truck can't)

Supply truck die very easily, even from not direct hits. Armoured supply tanks have more chance to survive and advance with troops and vehicles, and can stay in the frontlines during defensive missions near at guns or tanks
