A way to limit the amount of Corpses?
By default its unlimited, which after a certain threshold the game will lag even on rtx 4090 with 13900k, any way to limit this amount to less and not unlimited?

unlimited isnt bad but the game engine cant handle it, especially on hardcore difficulties where the enemy just spam units nonstop

In vanilla corpses "decay" and disappear after a period of time.
The same occurs to destroyed vehicles. (Ones that can be repaired are not "destroyed").

If every corpses is staying on the field you might like to examine any mods you are using.
the last time I looked it wasn't infinite (hence some of my mods)

unless something has changed they should despatch.

I tend not to use my mods which make corpses stay as we do indeed see slowdowns, I use my mod which keeps vehicles but let's corpses decay "naturally"

I'd check the files are native (verify it) and ensure no mods are running.
Try this, it should default the Corpse spawn back to "default"

You dont have t carry on using it, just try it and see if the same result happens.

They need to get rid of the wildlife that constantly spawns, all those zombie pigs, chickens, cows, deer, dogs and whatever else I've missed eat a ton of resources that would be better off used maintaining the things we can actually use to run w/o hiccups.

They are not unlimited by default unless you're using a mod that changes the default settings or does not have the entity manager on.

{entitymanager {group "dead" actor dead (mod "mp" {limit 50}) (mod not "mp" {limit 200}) {remove dissolve} {entity "human"} }

Which ones are your mods? I'd really like for corpses to stay much longer. It's a bit more realistic :D

If ii want to enable more bodies or disable the dead bodies from disappearing, does the achievements get disabled?, or how do i disable the entity manager? and do i keep the achievements enabled?

Changing any game files disables achievements.

The "Everything stays" mod is quite good.

Can we get an option to turn on unlimited Corpses and Destroyed vehicles In the settings?

No. Else desync would happen with other users that have different setting. Body lootable inventory would be present for one user by not another = desync.

Ah fair enough. Thanks for the reply!

Sounds like you have like a 'Everything Stays' mod , for me the game becomes unplayable with the lag hence I don't run it.
mods, like mine, greatly increase the numbers but still gives an upper limit.

I tend to leave infantry despawn on default and just keep vehicles on permanently.
