Skill issue or unluck in most cases it is instant heavy damage for Tiger after that the crew bails out the tank...
Try HE shells
Skill issue again, if you aim properly at hull even angled hull of Tiger its always heavy damage even at long ranges. After that the crew jumps out.
isu 152 should be able to destroy easily the tiger turret with HE
german tanks right now are unrealistic effective, a few days ago a tiger survived 4 shots of a t-34/85 at 50 meters on side of course after surviving 6 shots of a su-100y on front plate with only crew shock.

Here is the hull of the Tiger, it's around 100mm.

But here, around the vision port the armor is way thicker, as there is a giant slab of additional steel to protect it.

That "bar" with the machine gun port on it is thicker again.

Whereas the spot directly below it is weaker again.

On the lower hull the added track links make the armor stronger.

The little strip thats not covered by it is weaker again.
The Tiger seems pretty simple from an armor layout standpoint, being just a giant slab basically, it has a lot more complexities in the details that can influence penetration though.
An enemy’s standard armor piercing round fired from directly in front of the tank hitting the glacis plate in a straight line had to penetrate 139 mm (5.4 inches) of armor due to the angle of the armor.
But without being angled it have 130mm, also the b-13 130mm naval cannon that su100y is equipped fires SAPCBC shells PB-46A could pen 158mm at 2km and 1/8 of 2km is 250/158 at 2km but in this game su100y can only pen 152mm at 100 meters, and moving a heavy
and slow piece of metal across a battlefield with only 85mm of armor that could get easily destroyed for a pak40.
then if a SU100Y fires at a tiger at 180 meters at even ground and it don't get pen.
SU-100Y should easily pen tigers at 250 meters, but it already lacks pen at 180
There are no vanilla maps that are 2 kilometres in any direction.
Range and penetration are scaled down to fit the maps.
1) You can't compare what a "real" round would do at 250m to what a round in game does at 250m.
2) You can't shoot the SU-100Y 250m in the game anyway.
