Tanks and Roads
This was introduced a few updates back I think but its really causing problems. if you try to drive somewhere and you are anywhere near a road or your path crosses a road the tank will veer off course and try to follow the road. It's fine for long distances, if you are crossing the map, but your tank (or armoured car) should completely ignore the roads if you are only moving short distances.

If you want to drive 100m in a straight line and you are sitting 20 or 30m from the road your tank will stop, turn towards the road (exposing its side) try to travel along the road for 50 or 60m and then stop, turn off the road again (again exposing its side) and then move another 30m. Takes a lot longer than just driving across country in a straight line, having to stop and turn slowly on the spot twice. You can click again and try and get it to do what you want but when your tank stops and starts turning in one place it slows your response, you have to stop it and wait for it to turn and go in the right direction, can't just take off right away as many situations call for. This is particularly bad when you are being fired at by a tank or AT gun. It has lost me more than a few vehicle combats, which wouldn't have happened if your vehicle just drove where you told it immediately, like they used to, and didn't veer off towards a nearby road as if being pulled by a magnet.

Something similar happens when your tanks are trying to drive through areas with lots of light obstacles. The tank is much too reluctant to crush things it can easily go through and tries to pick a really stupid winding path around wooden boxes and small things. always stopping and turning, slowing it down, leaving it vulnerable to infantry and guns and other tanks. Tanks should ignore wooden boxes and wooden sheds, pallet stacks and other light things they can go through and go in a straight line through back yards. its fine to have them try to avoid brick walls unless you really order them to go through the wall, but avoiding all these tiny light things is too much.

I know people were complaining about pathfinding over long distances but some of these changes have caused more problems than they solved. Maybe if travelling 200 or 300 metres or more have the tanks prefer roads but otherwise they should ignore them, and just drive where they are directed without being pulled off course by some competing directive.
