Error message says its requesting ~5600000 bytes
I cant put that into reference but it feels like quite a lot more than my pc can provide
Because what you typed is 5.6 megabytes.
That's like 4 of the old 3.5 inch floppy disks.
In other words a tiny amount of RAM or disk space.
If you PC can't provide that something is very wrong.
It begs the question, why is the game isn't better optimised? I believe most of the gamers of today have at least 16 GB of RAM, why is there need for more, what I understand to be more slow to access memory from the hard drive?
Here's the full report the game gave me
Increase your windows pagefile, or add another stick of memory or close any applications that could be eating into memory.
Try freeing up more HDD space on the HDD/SSD that Windows is installed on. I assume that your Steam install drive is the same as your Windows install drive.
I think the crash report is saying it can't allocate 5.6 megabytes of space for a texture for the Grille.
I believe this isn't in RAM this will be on your HDD or SSD. The game is unpacking the textures for the equipment in your army and has run out of space.
Click the Windows button and type
Advanced system settings
Then select

Virtual Memory (A paging file is an area of the hard disk that Windows uses as if it were RAM.
Total paging file size for all drives 8704MB (for my system)
There is a button

I suspect when the game unpacks all of the textures to play your HDD is running out of space.
The game has a massive amount of data in zipped files and when the game runs it unpacks all those zip files.
Alright so I dont have any grille in my army, yet it noticed that it seems to almost always crash when loading that specific one.
I've freed up ~200gb of space on the ssd and increased virtural memory but the result is still the same.
My specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8112MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Note that the crash also now happens when trying to load into a campaign or skirmish battle as well
I note you have 8GB of system RAM and I assume the GTX1650 has the standard 4GB of VRAM.
One of those might be causing the issue. Both a a little on the low side for gaming.
A dev might pop into this thread and assist or you could join the BWS Discord and ask for technical assistance there.
