F1, F2 etc binds dont work in multiplayer

They work normally in singleplayer but in multiplayer despite being binds there are no shortcuts on the slots and pressing the function keys does nothing. Game is unplayable this way, how do I fix this.

Looking at the manual it says: (not word for word, I had to edit out the referral to the list of commands on pages 18-22)

Basic actions/ Control panel:
The control panel is located at the right bottom corner of your screen.
Inside the control panel are the actions that can be activated by either clicking on the icon inside the control panel, or using the icons shortcut in the action bar.
You can right-click + drag icons from the control panel to the action bar.

Even though the shortcuts you are referring to are supposed to be there by default, I was wondering if you could manually drag and reset them back into place?

All the icons are on the bar. But none of the functions keys are bound to them in MP only. Only in SP they are bound to them.

It looks like the F1, F2 etc function keys are hardcoded as "change squad member" keys but they work as the old style shortcuts in singleplayer. Had to bind my normal number keys as the shortcuts.

THIS NEEDS A FIX DEVS! DO NOT HARDCODE KEYS!

This isn't normal key binds behaviour
Delete keys.set located in Documents\my games\gates of hell\profiles\id
Make sure nothing 3rd party overrides your key binds in game on your end

The default keys.set file has the function keys only bound to changing squad members with the "no change" line after them. I've tried removing the file and it always comes back with function keys only bound that feature. I fixed this problem for my self by binding all the squad members to just P key and then adding the function keys manually in that file to the hotkeys.
