Horrible long loading-time fixed now ?

I played GOH for ca. 3 month ago,but i have no fun to play a game with such idiotic long loading time.
You must wait for some minutes before the map/units are loading.
And yes my system is big enough (win 10,16 gig ram,gty 1060 with 6 gig vram and intel i5 8400 (6 core).
Not a high end system but it is big enough for an only sh.. rts game. Withz the right setting i can play A L L other games very smooth (arma3 "performance-killer" too).

But it is a shame that only an rts game need so a long loading time.

Have the devs fixed the problem now or is the loaqdingtime agin so high and laughable long (some minutes !!!!!!!!) .

Lol the loadingtime is longer tan to install a whole game !!!

Loading time checked - from desktop to play of save <2mins on an old amd fx and HDD running Win7 - more than acceptable :) - either check your system/OS for the issue or perhaps less caffeine

Do you use an SSD or HDD? Playing on SSD the game starts within 15 seconds and loading into a multiplayer game for 100% / ready takes about a minute +- a couple seconds. The problem is players on old computers with super old HDD who take up to 5 mins to load the game, stalling the lobbies. I used to be one of them until i cleared space on my SSD and the game loads super fast now. Moral of the story: Invest in SSD or clear space and move install location.

Yep Widerstandmann,sound advice an SSD is a better option for sure- but for the OP I think it's not going to be a solution whatever is suggested, I'm still using an HDD and at 90sec load time it's still in the acceptable range for a game that is a "long session" play type strat.

I have installed the game on ssd and i have 16 gig system ram and graficcard (gtx1060) with 6 gig ram.
That must be enough. And gagain....no problem in any other game,all are loading very fast !!!

It is definitive GOH-problem !!! Some other player have the same problem too. Perhaps some player have not the problem or have a NASA-PC.

But it is very sh.. when a very poor optimized game run only on NASA-PC.

Hope the devs will fix the problem (or have fixed it perhaps?).

As for the OP, his specs aren't really indicative of how long the game would load - it's much more dependant on how fast his RAM/VRAM is, on what drive his game is installed on, and probably how fast his CPU is

Samsung 32GB DDR4 3200 Memory and Samsung 980 PRO 2TB NVMe SSD - no problems here. Less than 15-30 seconds loading time, depending on the map.
