If all those conditions are set and you still have the issue you may proceed!
There are all mods you downloaded from the workshop of GoH.
Copy all those folders (numbers) into your local mod folder.
...\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell\mods
Optional re-name the numbers to the actual mods, that's helping in the last step.
DO NOT use blanks in the names tho! You can figure out the name behind the number by opening mod.info
...\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\ should be empty now!
Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\gates of hell\profiles\YOUR PROFILE ID\
Open option.set
It should look like this
0 means mod activated.
You can now re-arrange the mods. Sometimes you need to do that to get it working.
The way the game activates mods is weird and randomly...
Now you may start a campaign or conquest together!
---Changing the load order of the mods worked very well for my friend group
as mentioned
---if you use the windows search bar and look up options.set
---a file will come up (use notepad) scroll to the bottom and there is the mod order.
---from there simply make it match the host
If it doesn't work then im sure the other solutions will (hopefully)
I wish this game had the mod loader of MOWAS 2
