How to Load Tank Ammo

As OP asks:
I have a tank without any rounds. I have an infantry unit with rounds in his inventory.
How do I get the rounds from his inventory and into the tank. I have tried B, Shift-G, and X - no luck.

You need to use the examine button (Or X key as a short-cut) and left click on the tank. Both inventories will appear and you can freely drag between them!
