Sd.Kfz 8 mit FlaK 18 vs 8.8 cm FlaK 36

Until now I was using 8.8 cm FlaK 18 for my main defensive anti tank unit and a Sd. Kfz 10 mit 5 cm PaK 38 for a second one in case armor attacks it from another flank while it was engaged or to support my tanks while they are engaged with infantry, I've just tried out Sd.Kfz 8 mit FlaK 18, and it seems to be a real improvement over Sd. Kfz 10 mit 5cm Pak 38, not just on account of the larger caliber gun, but also as the latter had very limited gun traverse. Now that better tanks are available and I have more "stages" to deploy I'm planning on keeping just one unit for anti tank purposes, which one should i go for? Does FlaK 36 improve much over FlaK 18 and that I should go for it, or should I stay with FlaK 18 Sd.Kfz with it's mobile platform?

As far as I understand the 36 carries more AP ammunition, other than that there isn't much noticeable difference. I wouldn't worry about the transport too much, just buy an adequate vehicle (truck, etc.) to tow the 36 if you need it somewhere quickly. Stick with the 18 if the crew are veterans.

Ammo is not that important as I keep a supply truck around, as for having a tow vehicle I already have transports for infantry but the more non-tank vehicles I get, more clutter there is the way I play: As attacker I go with tanks and artillery, clear the point and dig in with infantry in trenches and anti tank behind them with 2cm FlaK truck nearby and as defenders I rush to the most open portion of the map and do the same while having my tanks roam around or cover more obstructed areas as soon as I reach my position I send the transports away to keep the area not that crowded. If/When I need to move my defensive position, infantry can do it fast enough even without vehicles but AT can't.
