Picking up items

When I pick up a item from a box or container it grabs them all. Is there a way to only take one item at a time? also how do you access the inventory on a a vehicle? Im on the triaal by fire mission(training) and I cant find the kit to repair the BT-7. Thanks

Sounds like you just double click on a item.
Hold shift or control key, while drag a item between inventories. You will see the difference when you try.

Press I when the vehicle is active. If you want to access it from outside (with a soldier) click X (you get the eXamine cursor), then left click the vehicle.

I did this... something, something, shift left click maybe. Middel click-ctrl... Sorry can't remember, but I found it by trying within a few seconds.

FYI, Holding down the Shift key will net you 1 item at a time, always.
Holding down the Control key has two functions, sometimes, holding down the Control Key will net you 5 items at a time, like toolboxes, for certain, I can't remember what else, maybe, certain types of tank ammo you can separate 5 at a time, all other equip it will separate 1 at a time like the shift key.

You can't pick up barrels that turn red when you use the "C" key as far as exploding barrels I have yet to witness one go boom but either way if they exist I'm sure you can't pick them up either.
