You see this poor behavior in many other games too. When i buy a "finished" game i will not wait till a manual will be released. Or games have very heavy bugs (dont know if GOH have it)-
And so often i read "devs work hard for bugfixes". WHAT? I am not a cheap tester for the devs, heavy bugs must fix BEFORE release.
And GOH have a much too small interface and game-optons-menu. This noticed i the first seconds in game !
And no manual too ! So i refund the game....to often i bought unfinished games they calles as full-release games.
When learn the devs to finished their games B E F O R E fullrelease ?????
Some bugs are normal, but not unfinshed games, missing manual or useless small interface/letters !
Gates of Hell has similar control system and gameplay compare from that game. Although there is some new feature in this game. By the way I already know how to play this game and I enjoy to play with it.
And for a strategic game it is very important to can read all well without hurting eyes or bump your nose on the screen
Will the devs never test their games ? Such very small interface/letters are useless and it makes no fun to play with such mini-interface/letters.
And sry, your argument like "give up day-jobs" are so poor ! All the time devs have soo many
excuses when a game is released in an buggy/unfinished state.
With other words: You have day-jobs so you can release unfinished/buggy games. Wow "great" argument !!!!
Bit pithy response, we know you are doing a lot, but we dont need a full unit stat breakdown fantastic in detail art and lore etc , just things like keyboard controls in full so we can print them out (some of us old gamers cant remember 50 keyboard shortcuts, sad but true. ) and description of functions of various parts of UI. Not beyond a few days surely? (mostly the KB shortcuts)
when i buy a game i wanted to know how it works without sh.. try and error method.
And that the community must do the devs work to write (or youtube) is very poor !
When learn the devs (other games too) that a manual is a standard. And very often you must spend a lot of time to search for guides.
Again : IT MUST BE THE DEVS WORK TO EXPLAIN HOW THE GAME WORKS,NOT THE COMMUNITY !!!!!

The manual talks about game modes and the interface. It doesn't talk about specific units.
I see many reasons this is a good thing some being
There are too many units in the game and the manual would become huge.
New units are also added to the game reasonably often so the manual would need to be updated with every release.
Existing units are "tweaked" (buffed or nerfed) so old versions of the manual would be out of date and have incorrect data.
