How to get through the Among the Heavens(Third mission of the Germany)

Russians are too many,my men are heavily outnumbered by them and a 7.5cm infantry gun with mines not enough to stop them.Besides,more serious thing is the Russians took few mortars later then blasted my gun.The hauptmann told me to find a repair kit to fix the radio but I don't know where to find it,searched every crates lied there already(Meanwhile under heavily Russian fire).

Same here, it seems to be impossible to get through. You also have MG mounts available but I can't seem to mount the MG on them even if I put it in the inventory of the mount. Any good suggestions in winning this mission?

Already passed,thank Mr.Z.E.R.T. for telling where to find the repair kit,with another squad it's more easier,remember,when the soviet brought the mortars,hide one of your squad then use another to take out the mortars,don't let them fire until they sneak near the mortars.

No,tried already,the AI is dumb,they don't fire through the hotel's windows even you let them stand behind.

Here is how I pass defend mission.

After pass the stealth mission.
I seperate 2 defense lines 1: at near village 2: front of protected area(hotel). Almost 70% of troop go for 1st line (troop + 2 mg) and some of troop and infantry gun stay in 2nd line.
Until they reinforce mortar , I move infantry gun to 1st line for deal all of them. After that I order to fall back all unit to 2nd line and hold there until end because they come with a big army and I don't have mine anymore. In the end, I use sniper to eliminate the enemy remain troop.

is there a way to get more ap mines i found a crate with 12 but it still doesnt seem like enough

I just hid all my soldiers in the hotel, had them all go prone and waited for enemies to surround the building. Then I threw grenades out the windows and shot them through the walls with mg's.
It was a bit exploity, but I legit couldn't figure out how to deal with all the snipers mixed in with the enemy squads lol.

You just need to mount both MGs and point them in the right direction, then its easy.

Me too lol except i put the light infantry gun in the rocks and put 2 guys on it. they died but took many men with them

It's easy. Mine the Slope to the north (anti person mines) the notebook in the left bottom show you where to set mines (the big ones to finish all secondary goals.
Get all the shovels off the box an do any foxholes so you have a lot of cover and can change positions.
Drop the heavy machine guns inside of a foxhole! 3rd person view is easy. One north of the great building next to the big rock. On guy with mp44 right behind them into a foxhole.
The other machine gun right of the big building even in a foxhole.
One machine Gunner will arrive at the start of rush. Drove him next to the smaller building heading south. The other guys in foxholes next to the big machine guns. The sniper 3D view enter the building, now your inthe 1st floor.
Send him take cover next to a window heading north.
And now let Ivan come.

PS the toolbox is beside the houses at the east. Next to the door at middle building. (There's a box straight beside it. But it's heavy you need time to get back!

this mission was super easy for me, i didnt even need the radio/reinforcements. Just place several foxholes on the upslope side of the hotel. place most of your MGs there and an SMG overlooking both rear approaches. Eventually youll have to move troops up along the rocks and bring the arty gun to silence the mortars. the troops will position on the rocks to stop any advancing russians from killing the arty gun
