Base Game is Required
I get this error when I try to launch Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront.

''You require Call to Arms - Basic Edition or better to launch. Please follow the instructions in the forums.''

Which game exactly i have to buy in order to play this pack?

No, you don't need to downlaod Call to Arms, but you must own at least Basic Edition of CtA (not free version which Steam shows as Basic) in order to play Gates of Hell.

Alright. Remove Call to Arms from your account and then buy it. If you are getting this error it means you own only free version of Call to Arms that is not supported.

That one you post here. But remove it from your account at first. It will remove free version which you own. Steam is saying you own BAsic at it false because you are getting that error. For some reason Steam has free version of Call to Arms marked as Basic Edition. You can check if you own free version by downlaoding that Call to Arms which you have and then take a look if Singleplayer is available.

I got the same problem, but i cant remember if i've bought the full version oder the free one.

If you get that problem, it's always because of the free version. If you remove that and get CtA basic edition (or another one) it solves your problem.

well i could not refund it coz i used Archi steam farm which basically is for dropping cards. i have exceded the min. refund time without even playing. therefore i couldnt refund it. and now i had to remove the game from my account and had to pay for the base game which i already had..! UNWILLINGLY. its a very bad idea that the base game is required.

yeah the devs are money hungry jerks this game is literally modded mowas2. its pretty sad to be honest but there is no other game like it sooooo take my money... jerks, wait till they do a update that breaks the game for you and you have to modify files and its your problem.

The base game is required because GOH is literally DLC. How many games can you play the dlc for without actually owning the base game
