Find the executable appropriate for your graphics configruation in-game ("VanHelsing_x64_11_win10.exe" is for systems running Windows 10 64-bit with DirectX11).
Right-click -> Properties -> Compatability tab. Disable display scaling.
Hi, i did ecxatly u said, bau can't change the resolution. Can u help me?
And the cfg/resolution cfg creation a developer mentioned in another similar thread mentioned here won't work for me either.
This is game breaking for me and I probably won't play the game if I can't find a solution, I have also played around with the Nvidia control panel scaling with no success.
Do you have the correct display .inf file installed?
Yes I have the latest firmware and yes I can scale the display on the display if I want, but I should not have to do that. It's just a bad design choice from the developers side that force stretch, it does not do anyone a favor.
Switch desktop settings, play game, Exit game, switch Desktop settings back.
How dare MS expect you to change settings in their OS...
Have fun :)

PS: this is using Windowed mode, therefore the file name must be CustomNonFullscreen.cfg, and I wrote exactly
CustomResolution00=3820x1440
and nothing else inside. Make sure you follow the instructions properly.
Also make sure you can actually see file extensions in Windows. Windows hides file extensions by default, so a file might look like "CustomNonFullscreen.cfg" while in reality it is named CustomNonFullscreen.cfg.txt
