Katarina's damage type

Does anyone know the damage type of Katarina's melee and ranged attacks auto attacks? She has a skill which grants additional lightning damage and one which makes enemies weaker to poison damage, but nowhere can I find the damage type for her basic attacks--is it just physical?

The type of her weapon damage is determined by the skill she uses. Additionally the various fixed damage bonuses her items may have would have their own type.

First, Katarina has no skills. She has either melee attack or ranged attack, neither of which includes the description of dealt damage type.

Second, you remember the introduction of Beard Grease essence in VH3? How the monsters suddenly became immune to all types of damage? Well Katarina could kill those monsters. Since they were immune to physical, lightning, fire, ice and poison, that leaves arcane.
